Because our government says one thing and does another, in August 2021, WCA joined #ExtinctionRebellion‘s two-week peaceful protest for immediate action to address the climate and ecological emergencies. The main focus was on the City of London where banks continue to invest billions of our money in new fossil fuel funding, aggressively expanding sectors such as fracking, and oil and gas extraction, directly contravening the Paris Climate Agreement.
We also aimed to expose the GREENWASH that our government and financial institutions are using to hide their lies and inaction.
